The master’s program is based on innovative ideas, concepts, paradigms, concepts, theories and other results of modern scientific research on the design and use of special technologies, analysis of the development of the field of physical culture and sports, in particular Olympic sports and education, within which further professional and scientific career is possible era of the acquirer.

What is the master's program "Sports training and coaching in the Olympic sport"

The master's program is based on a versatile reflection of the achievements of world sports science and practice experience in the field of sports training, coaching, as well as in related industries that affect its effectiveness. The master's course is intended for professionals who want to significantly improve their academic level, master modern approaches and technologies for successful practical activities. It is also planned to study professional vocabulary in foreign languages, which is extremely important for successful activity in modern world sports.

As a result of studying in the magistracy, you will receive: • education in a highly professional environment, formed by the long fruitful history of this higher education institution and the skill of internationally recognized specialists invited to work in the magistracy; • deep knowledge in the field of theory and methodology of sports training; necessary for successful coaching ideas in areas of knowledge related to sports training – history, sociology, physiology, biochemistry, morphology, nutrition, psychology, management, etc.; • the opportunity to get acquainted with the activities of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine, federations in Olympic sports, leading centers where the training of national teams takes place; • knowledge and skills of conducting scientific research, as well as interpretation of the results obtained, which is necessary in coaching. The received education will allow you to build a successful career in the field of Olympic sports – a popular phenomenon in the modern global world.  

Features of training in the magistracy

Duration of study – 16 months (three semesters). The training is conducted in a continuous distance mode and consists of lecture courses in each discipline, seminars, discussions, knowledge testing, preparation of final work and its public defense. Training is conducted in groups divided according to the language principle (Ukrainian-speaking, Russian-speaking, English-speaking, Spanish-speaking). A tutor is attached to each undergraduate who will accompany the entire learning process, help to quickly resolve issues that arise.  

Submission of documents

From July 1, tutors provide organizational support for the submission of documents and assist applicants in preparing for entrance exams. Persons wishing to study in the magistracy send the tutor a completed APPLICATION FORM and then receive all the information on further actions. Persons wishing to study in the magistracy personally submit the relevant documents to the selection committee of the Educational and Scientific Olympic Institute of NUFVSU from August 1 to August 21, 2020. Entrance exams will be held from August 25 to August 31 in accordance with the approved schedule. Classes start on September 16. Duration of semesters: first semester – September-December, second semester – January-June, third semester – September-December.
